I have been getting knowledge from all sorts of organization from around the world. The first was from ITF then the PTR, and numerous of conference physically and online. Books and other sources of knowledge have been gained all over the years to improve understanding to develop tennis players.
One of a good exposure in tennis world is by getting into the GPTCA. It is a short form of Global Professional Tennis Coaches Association. Consist of level C, B & A. Where A is the highest certification for Grand Slam coaches. You can read more in https://www.gptcatennis.org/Learn.html
I have been eyeing for a C level in Asia with the right time. Korea came out in the schedule, and I made up my mind to go there for the knowledge. Without hesitation, contacted person incharge and registered.

Whats was interesting here is the speaker. The president of GPTCA Alberto Castellani was the one giving the course.
The main topic was about coordination. On courts drills were shown, and it was not fixed to the same thing as it can be change to anything.
Here are the topics in coordination:
1. Reaction
2. Differentiation (precision)
3. Balance
4. Transformation
5. Rhythm
6. Combination movement
7. Orientation
According to Alberto, these are the factors that need to be looked at when a coach train a player. When you improve these elements, players will show results rapidly on tour. That was his experience with a lot of good ATP players in the world.

Hundreds of exercise can be done when a coach understand the topics. As a coach myself who has just been introduce to this in details, will try to implement this and change the training little by little.
Theres always benefit in attending courses. You just have to make the time.
