We have made our accelerated move by introducing UTR in our monthly tournament. In Malaysia, not many UTR based tournament for kids to enter, hence we took this opportunity to provide some to our players and outsiders.
It is going to be a good start for players around us to join and play while getting the UTR points. Whats good in UTR is that, it is used globally and being counted in the admission of US College. Many of players all around the world is chasing the rank, to be selected whether for full scholar or half scholar in US.
Meeting with the provider have been set and this meeting have provide us better insight of the system. In 2026, UTR will be part of NTTA and it is a great opportunity for players toget some rank. Hoping the UTR will make our tournament getting a lot more players.
